  • Leafy Medley Mix Lettuce (Not treated)

Price range: $4.50 USD through $150.00 USD

This blend uses mostly home garden varieties with a bit of true, dark red baby leaf for visual interest. We offer this for “lettuce bowl” plant sales or for local markets where shelf life isn’t important. “Budget Blend” is not as intensely colored, and plants will grow faster than our “High Test Blend”.

Mascota is a mid-season Ancho maturing in about 80 days. It produces large, dark green, two-lobed fruit with thick walls on a strong, medium-vigorous plant. With tolerance to Xcv races 1–3, Mascota is well-suited for main season production across the Americas.

  • Platinum Dynasty Cabbage (Treated)

Price range: $18.57 USD through $594.00 USD

Early maturing, 70- days, with round head and a silvery blue-green wrap. Heads are compact, 3-4 lb, with a nice interior. It is one of the earliest varieties with Xcc (Black Rot) resistance. Conceivably Blue Marino will be better in the same slot, but I haven’t seen them together. Compared to Artost, the heads may be a bit smaller.  But it is more attractive and has black rot resistance.  Both hold well in the field for their early maturity. It is a reliable, attractive variety with good heat tolerance. The flavor is unusually sweet and mild with little or no cabbage “spice”.
