Its full flex ear allows for impressive yields even at moderate and lower planting densities. This hybrid boasts a robust disease resistance package, with notable tolerance to Gray Leaf Spot, Tar Spot, and Diplodia Ear Mold. With excellent staygreen and strong late-season plant health, it supports high tonnage yields making it a favorite with dairy producers. Adaptable to all yielding acres and responds to enhanced crop management.

Strong performer across a wide range of growing conditions makes it a great choice no matter the yield potential of the field or when its unfamiliar rented ground. Impressive early growth makes it a strong recommendation when pushing the planting date on early acres with chilly soils. SW 8775, SW 8977 and SW 8977 Organic are being phased out to make room for this new genetic package. Only conventional and organic versions are available for now so no traits to protect against either herbicides or insects. Not recommended for corn on corn ground.
