Borealis Beet (Treated Seed)
Shop Seed →Borealis is our newest beet offering an excellent disease package with intermediate resistance to rhizomania (BNYVV) and rhizoctonia (Rs). This beet has great root uniformity and good internal root quality with high sugar content and deep red color. It’s ideal for many regions, showing consistent performance across climates and soil types. Borealis maintains brix levels during storage and under rhizomania infection.

Boro Beet (Not Treated)
Shop Seed →Boro is the best choice for baby beets and bunching, due to a refined shape and smooth skin while small (it will grow full-sized, quickly). Unlike other varieties that are good for baby beets, Boro is quite early and features a very deep color and sweet flavor. Round to slightly top-shaped roots have a small stem/crown attachment. 12″ tops stay cleaner than any other red variety we know. It is widely adapted.

This fancy dense cabbage has a unique appearance with a serrate edge to the leaves, but you will like it for its black rot resistance. Size can be controlled with spacing although it should not be crowded. It will continue to gain size after it is mature (rather than splitting). From the Carolina’s north, Botran has looked good in most slots where black rot resistance is needed.
