Description

Midnight Rouge is a striking nearly black to rich-burgundy colored sunflower with a velvety look. It is primarily single-flowered but will branch with extra space. Flowers are 4” to 6” across and plants are 4 to 6 feet tall. It makes a beautiful and long lasting cut flower but will drop some pollen. It is ornamental in the garden, or field, with darker shading to the leaves and stems.
