Description
Also known as Calabaza, Calabash or Cuban pumpkin. Popular with Caribbean and South American populations. This variety is earlier than the extra-long vine types grown in South America and has a boxy to round shape. Both ornamental and delicious with a nutty flavor and smooth flesh. Unusually heavy for its size with a waxy-looking rind.
