Description

Fortius is a rootstock with mid-strong vigor and is well suited for short and mid cycle production where growers face challenges with bacterial wilt. It is generative and is additionally well suited for areas where Fusarium wilt race 3, Fusarium crown and root rot, Corky root or Root knot nematode are a problem. Fortius has an intermediate resistance to certain strains of bacterial canker, however, this needs to be tested by the grower at their facilities to confirm performance against local strains.
