A special selection by an Italian producer’s “Genovese Classico”. With improved uniformity, Superbo has a medium compact plant. The leaves are wide and spoon shaped with a brilliant green color. Very intense flavor. Superbo is the classic basil used for traditional “Genovese”bunching and for “pesto” for the processing market.

Culinary Benefits: Basil is an herb in the mint family. It adds flavor to meals, while cutting acidity in certain dishes including tomato-based recipes: pizza topping, pasta finishing, sauce blending, and raw in a salad. Basil is also used as a culinary component for cocktails, mocktails, and the like.
