    This mixture is strategically designed for placement ahead of a corn crop within a rotational system. Recommended planting occurs from August through October to maximize fall establishment and biomass production. The blend incorporates grass species for efficient nutrient scavenging, particularly residual nitrogen from previous crops and fall manure applications, alongside legume species that contribute biologically fixed nitrogen to support subsequent crop
    fertility requirements.
