Romaine Or Cos

A dark-green romaine that produces large, heavy heads with excellent internal quality and leaf texture; it grows tall and upright with straight ribs. Good for general boxing, processing, and long, slender, heavy hearts. Slot for spring and fall.

This mini-romaine is a “Crunchy” type with sweet very firm leaves, all the same size. It can be used to hold dips and fits in a clam shell. It can be sold as a tiny head or separated into even-sized leaves.

Teton is a widely adapted romaine including the West coast, Florida, Northeast US and Northeast Canada. It can be used for cartons, hearts or whole heads. Heads are large, tall and dark with straight ribs, dark green outside and pleasantly blonde inside. Teton slots well for Slots well in transition periods (Fall to winter, Winter to spring). It has a strong tolerance to tip burn and shows strong field tolerance to TBSV (tomato bushy stunt virus) and high resistance to BL-EU 21, 24.

This deep red glossy romaine has a good combination of weight and brilliant color. It is red on the outer leaves and tips with a light green center.
