Kale Hybrid

Premier has a very good mustard taste and is a kale in name only, but shows up in many “kale” salad mixes. It is less bothered by flea beetles than other mustards that might be used for baby leafs. Also known as “Hanover kale”. If grown to a larger size, the plant will be upright with medium green, leaves with finely serrated edges.

Tall, dark red-purple version of Winterbor. Salad bar garnish, shipping or garden ornamental. In warmer weather, the color is pretty but less intense becoming pure dark-violet in cold weather.
