  • SW 8118

Ultra-early hybrid for the North Country that will replace SW 1994GT and also provide a new conventional option for those short-season acres where heat units are limited. Grain yield potential in this maturity is top shelf and the tall plant with a higher ear placement should also fit the bill for high tonnage silage in this market. The semi-fixed ear dries down fast and excels in high yield environments with a solid plant population, but also handles stress. Both GT traited and conventional versions are available. No above or below ground insect protection. Keep in zone and north for best results.
