Warted

Warted fruit is both durable and appealing. Warts are firm and harden off, allowing fruit to maintain durability in the field and in handling. Popular smaller size pairs well with pies in other colors.

Sure to be a consumer favorite, Grizzly Bear produces uniformly warted fruit and an appealing dark caramel color.  Fruit is hard shell.  Warts harden as the fruit matures, resulting in less bruising and better durability.  Productive!

Heavily warted fruit is a smaller version of Warty Goblin. Fruit is consistent in size, shape, and production of warts.

Scarface is a larger warted pumpkin for roadside and bin applications. Scarface has the look of a traditional pumpkin and the appeal of durability with warts that are mature and hardened off. Fruit has the dark orange rind color consumers prefer. Easy to handle with sturdy handle. Light ribbing completes the look.

Easy to adopt as a favorite, Warty Gnome is colorful, striped and warted.  Handle complements well: it is long and dark green.  Plants are vigorous and hold up well late into the season.
