Some flat cabbage does not fill out well, but GC 301 does while maintaining thin, even leaves. The flavor is outstanding and it is excellent for a lettuce substitute in salads, without the wilting. Heads are 7″ to 8″ across. It is very uniform maturing. It is the ideal size and weight for Asian markets.
