Open Pollinated Unsized

OP standard. A hardy, blue-green plant that does not turn yellow in cold weather.  This is the original curly leaf kale with stems radiating from a central stalk. If you are cutting smaller leaves or not stripping, this is a nice standard kale.  It will not regrow well like hybrid kale.  Sized seed comes from our preferred source, Sakata, and is recommended if you are growing full-sized plants.  Unsized seed is appropriate for baby and teenage kale.

Ethiopian kale, which is really a small-leaved mustard with serrated margins. It actually taste better than curly kale. It is a common green in Ethiopian cuisine.
