Platinum Dynasty Cabbage (Treated Seed)
Price range: $17.65 USD through $564.30 USDLearn more →
Early maturing, 70- days, with round head and a silvery blue-green wrap. Heads are compact, 3-4 lb, with a nice interior. It is one of the earliest varieties with Xcc (Black Rot) resistance. Conceivably Blue Marino will be better in the same slot, but I haven’t seen them together. Compared to Artost, the heads may be a bit smaller. But it is more attractive and has black rot resistance. Both hold well in the field for their early maturity. It is a reliable, attractive variety with good heat tolerance. The flavor is unusually sweet and mild with little or no cabbage “spice”.
