Very early maturity variety used for markets where both greens and bunching are needed. Fast-growing with smooth leaves. Smooth, dark roots are somewhat flat. Moderately distinct zoning. 16″ – 18″ high leaves. Good choice for roadside sales.

With very clean tops, refined shape, and uniform size, Golden Boy is an excellent specialty beet.

Grenade is used where Rhizomania is a problem. It has the nicest shape and quality of Rhizomania resistant varieties. This is a new disease in north America, and quite common in Europe.

Manolo may be the perfect bunching variety for baby beets (up to 3″). It stays perfectly round with smooth skin and the tops are relatively short, and healthy for an excellent presentation.

Merlin has higher brixs. Due to its high brixs and dark red interior, Merlin is well suited for any market. Can be used for processing, juicing and fresh markets.

Pablo is favored by customers, including processors, who want a beet that is perfectly round, deep red, and holds its shape without oversizing. Used for baby beets.
