Iceberg

Medium sized iceberg. Very uniform and adaptable variety with good heat tolerance, also performs well in cooler climates. Excellent internal characteristics with a dense heart and a very low core. Medium to late maturing, very strong against tipburn and bolting. Large frame, round head shape, good leaf cover.

Meridian is a pioneer! This variety is first to market to show strong field tolerance to Fusarium Race 1 in the iceberg category. It has a high level of heading and works well in the Desert Southwest fall and spring as well as Southern Salinas Valley summer and early fall.

Twist is a crunchy twisted, deeply incised, baby leaf that can also be grown as a small head. It has an iceberg taste. Great bag filler and stores well.
